About Me

How do I cope with this…?

How do I cope with all of it? It’s been a good week since I started this shenanigan and I’m tired and grumpy. My hair is not obeying me in the morning, Jack refuses to go for a walk in that despicable early morning hour and I have no idea what to put in tomorrow’s lunch box.
I have no idea how my Nonna managed to do it, how my Mamma did it, are they like freaking superwomen? Are they empowered by kryptonite? Do they have a secret recipe that I’m not aware of?

24h in a day is just not enough…

So of course who else to call and get any consultation then my Nonna. She answers the phone and we chitchat for a while and she tells me that both her and my Nonno are great and they have nice warm weather at the moment and that helps. She asks me what have I been up to lately and I explain to her about my blog and the book I started reading and stuff like that and suddenly there is a big sigh, and she says “If I had to go back and do it all again, I don’t know if I could do it, I got used to having warm water directly from the pipe and not to mention all the household machines…” and I smiled because it was true nowadays is easier in that way.
We spent an hour on the phone and she tells me: “Enea, if you want to be successful at what you do, you need a plan, a good plan and then stick to it”. And that made me think, a plan would be a good idea so I came up with this.

On the days I work:

  •  Pin curl my hair before I go to bed, that way I’ll have a nice hairstyle
  • Wake up early
  •  Take Mr. Jack for a walk
  •  Prepare Mr. Jack’s breakfast and mine so we can eat together
  •  Do my make up
  •  Dress
  • Take my lunch box
  •  Off to work
  •  On the way home get some necessary essentials
  • Cook pre-planned dinner
  • Wipe the kitchen and do the dishes
  •  Play with Jack
  •  Shower, and all the things I need to do to be beautiful
  •  Go to bed early

Days off

  •   Get some beauty sleep
  •   Cuddle with Mr. Jack
  •  Have some nice relaxing coffee on the couch still wearing my morning robe
  •  Do my make up
  •   Take Jack for a walk
  •   Squeeze in some gym time
  •  Have a nice lunch
  •  Do some housework
  •  Prepare something nice for dinner
  •  Possibly bake something good .
  •  Once a week I go and do my weekly shopping but plan ahead what will I cook
  •  Relax while reading a nice book

Hopefully this will do!
