Ok I couldn’t wait…. I know I know

I meet Robert for coffee in our regular Nick’s coffee place in Ranelagh and I was soooooo overexcited and couldn’t hide. So when I met him I said “it is a nice day isn’t it, and btw your anniversary gift is home, so just let me know when do you want to have it.” But honestly I said that in a most casual tone of voice.

I knew he would be a bit curious, but he tried to hide it so he said tomorrow or Saturday would be just fine.
But I couldn’t wait, I needed to see his happy face so I tried again and told him that the gift requires a nice sunny day, and well he is working on Saturday so he wouldn’t be able to enjoy it and for grand finale I said that we live in Ireland and this could be the last sunny day of the year and that was it. He grabbed me by the hand and took me home.

I commanded him to close his eyes while I went to grab his gift. Oh the smile on his face when he seen it, he absolutely loved it.

So of course we had to go out and test it, it was a fun evening. Oh and it is kinda tough to skate in a perfect narrow line or to stay on the board.
Overall it was super fun and tomorrow we are both off so the celebration continues.
